Description
The Hermès Chypre in a dark plum and black is one of the moodier, more versatile colourways of the house's everyday sandal. The deep tone is easy to wear and dresses the Chypre up a little, quieter than the bright or pale versions while keeping the same relaxed, modern character.
The Chypre is Hermès' take on the techno-sandal: a wide band crosses the foot with the Hermès H cut into it, and the strap fastens with adjustable velcro so the fit can be set rather than guessed. Underneath, the footbed is contoured to support the foot and the thick anatomical rubber sole carries the H worked into its tread, giving real grip and making it a sandal you can genuinely walk in all day. It suits men and women equally.
