The Santos de Cartier Skeleton, reference WHSA0028, is the large model in steel, and it is the green version of Cartier's openworked Santos. Instead of a normal dial, the movement's bridges are shaped into the Santos Roman numerals and filled with green lacquer, so the structure you read the time from is the same structure that holds the watch together. The seven-sided crown is set with a green jasper stone that picks up the same colour.
This runs the hand-wound calibre 9611 MC, a movement Cartier built specifically for this watch, with 138 parts, 20 jewels, and about 70 hours of power reserve, all visible through the sapphire front and case back. The steel case is 39.8mm with the squared Santos shape and exposed bezel screws. It comes on the steel bracelet with Cartier's SmartLink adjustment, plus a second green alligator strap, and both swap over without tools using the QuickSwitch system.
