The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126508 is the watch collectors have nicknamed the "John Mayer 2.0," the yellow gold Daytona with the bright green dial. It is made entirely from 18k yellow gold, case and bracelet, with a green sunburst dial that shifts under the light, and this generation swaps the older tone-on-tone green counters for contrasting gold sub-dials, which is the quickest way to tell it apart from the previous 116508. The gold hour markers are filled with Chromalight for legibility in low light.

The 40mm gold Oyster case carries the engraved gold tachymeter bezel, a screw-down Triplock crown, and pushers that keep it water resistant to 100 metres. Inside is Rolex's Caliber 4131, the current in-house chronograph movement, with a Chronergy escapement, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and a 72-hour power reserve. It sits on the matching yellow gold Oyster bracelet with the Easylink comfort extension. This is the 2025 successor to the original green-dial John Mayer, updated in movement, dial, and case.
