Louis Vuitton Monogram Chess Keepall 25 Bandouilier

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Chess Keepall Bandoulière 25 is one of the most distinctive travel bags from Virgil Abloh's final collection for Louis Vuitton, the Men's Fall-Winter 2022 range. The "Chess" name comes from the pattern: the heritage Damier checkerboard is rebuilt from alternating squares of brown Monogram coated canvas and crystal-clear transparent PVC, so half of the check is see-through. It is a genuinely unusual take on two of the house's most familiar patterns at once.

At 25cm it is the smallest Keepall, which makes it more of an everyday crossbody than a travel bag, roomy enough for a phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses. Like every Keepall it is soft-sided rather than rigid, and it keeps all the line's signatures: double top handles, side reinforcement strips, a buckle-on name tag, a zipped closure with an inside pocket, and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap for cross-body wear. The transparent panels make it as much a talking point as a carry.
