The Hublot Big Bang Unico Italia Independent, reference 411.YL.5190.NR.ITI15, is the blue limited edition Hublot made with Italia Independent, the Italian design house known for putting carbon fibre into eyewear. It was released in 2015 as a run of 500 pieces, and the case is the giveaway: it is Texalium, a composite of aluminium over a carbon-fibre weave, in blue, rather than steel. The bezel matches and is held down by Hublot's six H-shaped titanium screws.

This is a Unico, so the blue skeleton dial opens onto the in-house HUB1242 automatic movement, a flyback chronograph with a column wheel and around 72 hours of power reserve, visible front and back through sapphire. The dial mixes blue Arabic numerals and applied markers with a date at 3 o'clock, and the straps change over without tools thanks to Hublot's One-Click system, so the piece often comes with more than one. It is 45mm and water resistant to 100 metres.
