Goyard Bourget PM Trolley Case In Navy Blue With Special Edition

The Goyard Bourget PM is the house's carry-on rolling suitcase, and its name tells you what it was built for: Le Bourget, the Paris airport now given over mostly to private jets, to whose carry-on standards the case was designed. This one is in navy blue Goyardine, Goyard's coated chevron canvas, trimmed in Clamecy cowhide, so it carries the same materials as the Maison's trunks in a piece made to roll behind you through a terminal.

It is hard-sided but light, riding on 360-degree wheels with an aluminium telescopic handle and leather carrying handles, and the corners are reinforced in the trunk-style leather Goyard has used since it was founded as a malletier. The closures are the detail that gives it away as Goyard: flip latches and a leather belt strap borrowed directly from the house's heritage trunks, rather than an ordinary zip.

Inside, it opens to Goyard's signature sunshine-yellow canvas lining, with elastic support straps on each side, interior compartments and a zip pocket, around 23 litres of packing space in a footprint of roughly 50 by 24 by 36 cm.
